Rising from the ashes of podcasts past, the ragtag gang of the usual suspects returns to bring news, views, and insight on the future of the Supreme Court. Over a decade since they first sat behind a microphone and commented on the nominations of 2005 and 2006 (Supreme Court Watch), we returned to chat about President Obama’s nomination of Chief Judge Merrick Garland of the United States Court of Appeals of the DC Circuit as the next Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. That… turned out differently than expected. See Season 1 for that.

We return for a second season following the retirement of Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy. Following in the footsteps of the prior season and podcasts of the past, Advice & Consent will be insightful, but not stodgy… opinionated, but not dogmatic. This is a serious process, but we find some entertainment along the way too.

Advice & Consent is an independent production, unaffiliated with any party, political figure, organization or entity. All views on the Advice & Consent are those of the individual and are not intended to reflect on anyone but them. Any questions? Email scotuspodcast@gmail.com.
